Updated to Drupal 4.7.3

By David Grant - Posted on 07 August 2006

Just updated to Drupal 4.7.3. Drupal says there are no feature enhancements, but looking at the diff it looks like they added support for zip compression if the server and client both support it.

Updated (2006-09-09): Actually I was wrong about the gzip compression thing. See comments

has been there for ages. We don't add new features on the stable branch. Really. :)

Also you should probably create your own favicon.

Ah, yes, and captchas suck, better try the badbehaviour module.

Ah, I think I know what the gzip fix was now...it was a bug fix related to gzip headers perhaps. Anyways, I don't have the diff up right now and I'm too lazy to go grab it.

I've tried creating a new favicon a few times. They are just so small I find it tough to make anything that looks half decent!

Thanks for tip re: captchas. I don't like them either and I have heard of the badbehaviour module. I will definitely look into it.

I got rid of captcha, I'm now using the bad behaviour module.
